The series is dedicated to publishing the results of the archaeological research projects conducted in Iraqi Kurdistan by the University of Udine. It aims to help to draw scholarly attention to the archaeology of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, an area which – though in the past it has been the subject of only occasional and unsystematic archaeological research due to its political instability – is now becoming the focus of numerous archaeological excavations and survey projects.
