A cura di Mattia Mantellato e Antonella Riem Natale
This collection of essays is the first attempt to explain the experience of MaPS, an innovative, world-leading Master specialisation programme on Partnership Studies and Shamanism as means to better understand ourselves, those around us, and the world. The essays span from literature and the creative arts, to anthropology and sociology, thus showing how the recovery of ancestral native wisdom and worldviews are necessary means to rethink the societies we live in. Apart from its scientific stance, the volume collects essays on the creative power of the arts, language and the creative mind. These are the writings and works of artists and shamans involved in MaPS. We believe in the integration of practices and experiments, in the constant search for a source of happiness that can be communal, participated, shared. This book brings to fruition the diverse scientific, creative and poetic paths traversed during the innovative and challenging experience of the Master in Partnership and Shamanism (UNIUD, MaPS, 2020) and its subsequent metamorphoses and different embodiments.
