A cura di Mattia Mantellato e Antoinette Camilleri Grima
This collection of essays and creative texts embarks on a bold, transdisciplinary exploration of the Mediterranean Sea as both a physical space and a metaphorical frontier. Navigating linguistic and cultural divides, it weaves together the rich tapestry of Southern Europe’s cross-cultural exchanges. At the same time, it reflects the Mediterranean’s diversity, reimagining its historical archive through a project that fuses poetry, music, visual art, and dance/performance. Framing the sea as a site of care, peace, and dialogue, this volume invites a deeper understanding of the Mediterranean — not simply as a historic crossroads, but as a dynamic and living source of inspiration. It challenges us to imagine a future grounded in interconnectedness, where collaboration and partnership extend beyond borders, resonating with the sea’s timeless rhythms of connection and renewal.
